Aims & Scope
The journal's mission is to publish high-quality, original and unpublished scientific works that contribute to the dissemination of scientific-technical advances and the theoretical-practical knowledge generated in the agricultural sciences. Its purpose is to share with the national and international scientific community the results of research conducted in this field, with special emphasis on those related to tropical and subtropical conditions. It is aimed at researchers, professionals, technicians and students in agricultural sciences and related disciplines who are interested in the generation, application and transfer of knowledge oriented toward the sustainable development of the agricultural sector. The journal publishes papers derived from original and unpublished scientific research in Spanish and English. The content covers a wide range of topics related to agricultural activity, including: applied mathematics, agricultural economics, animal genetics, animal science (physiology, nutrition and management of ruminants and monogastrics, microbiology and biotechnology), pastures, forages and plants of interest to livestock, rural development, environment, sustainable agricultural systems, knowledge management, technology transfer, technological innovation and agricultural extension.
