Aims & Scope

Vietnam Journal of Mechanics is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality articles not only on the fundamental aspects of mechanics, including solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, and mechanics of machines and structures but also on various areas of engineering related to mechanics such as robotics, automation and control, structural health monitoring, oil and gas exploration, environmental pollution, and climate changes. Novel theoretical, computational, and experimental contributions with an emphasis on cutting-edge aspects of mechanics, such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), big data, new and smart materials, and additive manufacturing (AM) are also welcome and encouraged. Vietnam Journal of Mechanics is free of charge for authors. Authors do not pay any submission fees or other publication charges. All costs of the publication process are supported by the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. Vietnam Journal of Mechanics is an open access (OA) journal, meaning that all of its articles are freely available to read, download, and share without any subscription fees or other barriers to access. The journal believes that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Vietnam Journal of Mechanics is licensed under aCreative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0(CC BY-SA 4.0) International License. Copyright on any research article published in the Vietnam Journal of Mechanics is retained by the respective author(s), without restrictions. This applies to all articles, including those published before 2020. For articles published prior to 2020 under a delayed OA model, we have retrospectively applied the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, allowing unrestricted use, sharing, and adaptation provided the authors are fully credited.
