Aims & Scope

Cadernos do Arquivo Municipal é uma revista científica online de acesso aberto, com arbitragem científica, editada pelo Arquivo Municipal de Lisboa, Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, Portugal. Publicada desde 2014, esta revista tem por objetivos valorizar o património documental do Arquivo Municipal de Lisboa junto da comunidade científica nacional e internacional, promovendo a sua divulgação e utilização, bem como contribuir para a difusão do conhecimento científico através da publicação de estudos no âmbito da História — designadamente nas suas vertentes política, institucional e social — numa perspetiva crítica e interdisciplinar, em diálogo com outras áreas das Ciências Sociais. Privilegia estudos sobre as múltiplas dimensões — política, social, cultural e económica — das cidades, enquanto territórios de relações de poder, de práticas sociais e de construção identitária. A revista publica artigos com arbitragem científica com dupla revisão cega por pares ( double-blind peer review ), bem como recensões críticas de livros, entrevistas e outros textos que se enquadrem na difusão do conhecimento científico. Inclui também uma seção, Documenta , dedicada à divulgação de fontes primárias à guarda do Arquivo Municipal de Lisboa.
