Aims & Scope

The Journal of Business Strategies is a multidisciplinary journal published by the Gibson D. Lewis Center for Business and Economic Development at Sam Houston State University. The Journal has been published semiannually (in the Spring and Fall) since its inception in 1984. The objective of the Journal is to attract quality articles grounded in theoretical frameworks, empirical research, and/or practical experience. Case studies presented in the context of a theoretical framework are also published in the JBS. It is our vision to position the Journal as a relevant publication appealing to both practitioners and academicians within the business community.
