Aims & Scope
K&K – Kultur og Klasse is a Nordic journal that publishes articles in Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian. The journal focuses on themes related to culture and class, exploring how time is experienced, written, shaped, and thought. It examines what happens when past, present, and future appear in shifted, overlapping, unstable, or radically alternative forms. The journal investigates how temporality is negotiated in peculiar time-space logics, how our understanding of history and modernity changes through time experiments, and how different times and time experiences are expressed in images, music, drama, and text. Possible topics include, but are not limited to: experimental temporal forms in literature/art/theater/music, decolonial temporalities, speculative temporalities, queer temporalities, temporality in digital and social media, feminist times, temporal experiments in social communities, and alternative time logics (e.g., anachronisms, time travel, apocalypses, temporal collapses, accelerated time, déjà vu, retromania, hauntological time). It also considers the abrupt, fragmented time of crisis and war.
