Aims & Scope

Theoretical and Computational Fluid Dynamics: Addresses scientists, engineers and applied mathematicians working in all fields concerned with fundamental aspects of fluid flow and provides a forum for the cross-fertilization of ideas and techniques across all disciplines in which fluid flow plays a role Welcomes contributions addressing diverse applications of fluid dynamics including aerospace, mechanical, geophysical, environmental, materials and life sciences   Presents papers that unravel complex flow physics through complementary theoretical analysis and computation, combined computational and experimental efforts, as well as data-driven- and reduced-order flow modeling   Of particular interest are papers employing modern approaches to flow receptivity, instability, transition and control, as is research addressing high-speed flow in rarefied environments. The journal publishes scholarly research papers, invited review articles, brief communications, letters and comments on previously published papers. The journal also publishes Special Issues on current research topics and invites authors to submit SI suggestions through any member of the Editorial Board.

Frequently asked questions about Theoretical and Computational Fluid Dynamics

Is Theoretical and Computational Fluid Dynamics a predatory journal?

PubScope has no integrity flags on record for Theoretical and Computational Fluid Dynamics: it is indexed in Web of Science, Scopus, and is not on DOAJ's withdrawn list. Indexing is a transparency signal, not a guarantee — always confirm fit and policies before submitting.

What is the impact factor of Theoretical and Computational Fluid Dynamics?

Theoretical and Computational Fluid Dynamics is indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection, so Clarivate publishes an official Journal Impact Factor for it (since the 2023 Journal Citation Reports, every Core Collection journal — including Arts & Humanities and Emerging Sources titles — receives one). PubScope links to Clarivate's official source rather than reprinting the number, which can be out of date. Its open 2-year mean citedness is 3.02.

Is Theoretical and Computational Fluid Dynamics indexed in Scopus and Web of Science?

Theoretical and Computational Fluid Dynamics is indexed in Web of Science, Scopus.
