The Journal of Evolutionary Economics promotes the application of evolutionary theory and methods to economics, with special attention to disequilibrium processes and the role of innovation and new technologies in economic dynamics. The journal is open to novel theoretical and empirical research from an evolutionary perspective. Articles feature a strong emphasis on dynamics, changing structures, and disequilibrium processes with an evolutionary perspective. The journal also stresses interdisciplinary analysis and methodological work. Articles are rooted in the (neo-)Schumpeterian tradition of economics.
