Aims & Scope

Histochemistry and Cell Biology is a dedicated resource for Original Research and Reviews in molecular histology and cell biology. Covers the localization, identification and quantification of structural components of normal and diseased cells and tissues and the extracellular matrix. Includes development, application and evaluation of methods useful across the entire field of histochemistry, cell biology and diagnostic medical research. Encloses experimental approaches to characterize dynamic and functional aspects of molecular constituents of organelles, cells, tissues, organisms and extracellular structures. Studies aimed at understanding cell biological processes in both healthy and diseased tissues are encouraged. Adheres to the highest standards of scientific and imaging rigor and reproducibility. Monthly Editorials highlighting selected publications.
