The British Journal of Biomedical Science is the official journal of the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS). Since January 2022, the journal began publishing under a Gold Open Access model. All articles will be immediately, permanently, and freely available to read, download, and access for people everywhere. Authors will retain copyright on all new articles published and the journal will be compliant with Plan S.
