Aims & Scope
Aquaculture International is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes research on all aspects of aquaculture. Examines the biology, physiology, pathology and genetics of cultured aquatic species. Covers water quality, nutrition, feeding, stocking practices and the environmental impacts of aquacultural operations. Explores sustainable production techniques, bioengineering studies on the design and management of offshore and land-based systems. Focuses on the improvement of quality and marketing of farmed products, and on the sociological and societal impacts of aquaculture. Supports and advances the UN’s sustainable development goal SDG14 (Life below water). Publishes themed collections on aquaculture.
