Aims & Scope

The LBS Journal of Management & Research is a scholarly journal that publishes research papers, viewpoints, technical papers, conceptual papers, case studies, literature reviews, and general reviews. It focuses on management and research, encouraging transparent research practices and the reproducibility of research through the adoption of transparent research practices. The journal covers a wide range of management and research topics, including the construction or testing of a model or framework, action research, testing of data, market research or surveys, empirical, scientific or clinical research, and papers with a practical focus. It also accepts papers dependent on the author's opinion and interpretation, descriptions and evaluations of technical products, processes or services, development of hypotheses, philosophical discussions, comparative studies, descriptions of actual interventions or experiences within organizations, and annotation or critique of literature in a particular field.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
