Acta Sedimentologica Sinica is a journal that publishes research on sedimentology, including deep-water turbidite deposition, terrestrial thermal spring travertine research, microbially induced sedimentary structures, unconventional petroleum sedimentology, sedimentary characteristics of ephemeral and intermittent channels, hydrodynamic depositional numerical simulation and its implication for shallow-water braided river deltas, distribution characteristics of topsoil brGDGTs and their responses to environmental factors, magnetic characteristics and variation mechanisms of sediments, control of key boundary conditions on the depositional processes of lacustrine braided river deltas, channel sandstone architecture, foamy dolostone, and the spatiotemporal relationship between CAMP volcanism and the end-Triassic mass extinction.
