Aims & Scope
Arid Zone Research was founded in 1984. It is an academic journal supervised by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and sponsored by the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Chinese Soil Science Society. It publishes original, comprehensive, theoretical, and practical academic papers in the research fields of water resources, soil, biology, climate, and environment in arid regions. It mainly publishes research results on basic scientific issues in arid regions, such as arid zone responses to global climate change, inland water cycle and water resources, arid zone biological resources and oasis ecology, soil science, and desertification control.
