Aims & Scope

International Journal of Sediment Research (IJSR) is the official journal of World Association for Sedimentation and Erosion Research (WASER) which is a non-governmental, non-profit organization. The Journal is co-owned by the International Research and Training Center on Erosion and Sedimentation, China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research, and Tsinghua University. The International Research and Training Center on Erosion and Sedimentation (IRTCES) was jointly set up by the Government of China and UNESCO. It aims at the promotion of international exchange of knowledge and cooperation in the studies of erosion and sedimentation. China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research is the largest and most comprehensive research institute in the field of water resources and hydropower in China. Tsinghua University is one of the most renowned universities in China, and has become an important institution for fostering talent and scientific research. With the motto of "Self-Discipline and Social Commitment" and the spirit of "Actions Speak Louder than Words", Tsinghua University is dedicated to the well-being of Chinese society and to world development.
