Aims & Scope

Journal of Surgery Concepts & Practiceis a national medical journal sponsored and managed by Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. The journal was founded in 1996. Since 2001, the journal has been changed from quarterly to bimonthly (published on the 25thof odd-numbered months), publicly issued at home and abroad. Since 2000, the journal was indexed by the Chinese Scientific and Technological Papers and Citation Database (CSTPC) of the Ministry of Science and Technology (Chinese Scientific and Technological Core Journal), and other leading scientific databases in China. Aims of the Journal:① The journal aims to promote and strengthen academic communication and interconnection in the field of general surgery in China, providing a forum of academic exchange and debate for medical professionals. ②It aims to report the latest development and achievements of medical science in the world.③It aims to support continuing education, to help surgeons at all levels to continuously refresh their knowledge and contribute to enriching the theoretical basis, developing diagnosis and treatment techniques, and improving the quality of medical education and scientific research. Features of the Journal:The journal focuses on basic and clinical research in general surgery and oncology. Moreover, each issue of this journal has a special topic, for which authoritative experts are invited to submit their articles reflecting the latest knowledge, status and development trends within the field. Article Types:The journal welcomes original articles of the following types: editorial, experts forum, guideline and consensus, original article, case report, review, lecture, technical method, domestic and international academic progresses. Articles for editorial and experts forum are mainly from invited authors.
