It is a professional scientific journal governed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and sponsored by the Zhengzhou Fruit Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science (CAAS).The journal is a monthly publication and published on the 10th of each month, with 176 pages and price of CNY 36 per issue, CNY 432 per year. For domestic subscription, the journal's post issuing code is 36-93. The journal's oversea distribution code is M1107.The Editor-in-chief is professor Cao Ke, who is the director of Zhengzhou Fruit Research Institute, CAAS. The Associate-Editors-in-chief are Professor Chen Kun-song (Zhejiang University), Professor Ma Feng-wang (Northwest A&F University), Dr Xie Jiang-hui (Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences), Professor Wang Li-rong (Zhengzhou Fruit Research Institute, CAAS) and Professor Liu Chong-huai (Zhengzhou Fruit Research Institute, CAAS), etc. The journal' s Advisory Board constitutes of experts leading by Professor Shu Huai-rui (Shandong Agricultural University), who is the academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.Journal of Fruit Sciencefocuses on selecting and publishing outstanding manuscripts that are closely integrated with the actual scientific research, teaching, and production of fruit trees, reflect the academic level and development trends of the discipline. The journal reports in a timely manner major scientific research results, phased results, and scientific research progress. The content includes theoretical basic research and applied basic research on fruit trees.
