La Gaceta Médica Boliviana es la revista oficial de difusión científica de la Facultad de Medicina “Dr. Aurelio Melean” de la Universidad Mayor de San Simón, tiene el objetivo de socializar nuevos conocimientos y avances científicos en el área de la salud, cumpliendo criterios y estándares internacionales de una revista científica, promoviendo y respaldando la producción de los profesionales e investigadores en el ámbito nacional e internacional. El alcance de la revista contempla la publicación de artículos de todas las áreas de la salud y otras áreas vinculadas a esta como ser psicología y trabajo social contribuyendo a la salud integral de la población.
