Latin American Antiquity publishes original research on the archaeology and ancient history of Mesoamerica and South America. The journal covers the period from the earliest human occupation to the arrival of Europeans. It aims to foster interdisciplinary approaches and to encourage dialogue between archaeologists, historians, anthropologists, and other scholars working on the ancient Americas.
