Aims & Scope
TheJournal of Aviation / Aerospace Education & Research(JAAER)publishes innovative scholarship on the integration, discovery, and application of scientific knowledge within the field of aviation and aerospace. The editors invite submissions from researchers in academia, industry, government, and the military covering all dimensions of aviation / aerospace. More specifically, we encourage submission of robust original research; industrial application and design integration; education and workforce development; and reviews of important issues in aviation / aerospace theory and practice. The journal is inter- and cross-disciplinary in nature, covering a wide range of areas. Each article undergoes editorial review and selected articles are evaluated by a minimum of two subject matter experts. The journal follows a double-blind (double anonymous) review process in which the reviewers’ identities are withheld. That is, the identity of the external reviewer is not known to the writer, and the writer’s identity is only revealed after publication. (If the article isn’t published, the author’s identity remains confidential.) TheJAAERis published on a free, open-access platform supported by the College of Aviation (Daytona Beach) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. There are no fees for article submission and publication, and no charge for reader access.Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of the article, provided that proper acknowledgment and citation of the original work are given.
