Aims & Scope
The Egyptian Pediatric Association Gazette is a double-blinded, peer-reviewed, open access, journal focused on children’s health and healthcare, from a multidisciplinary perspective expanding into social, psychological and health-related logistics and economics. It publishes top-quality research papers documenting current practices and promoting new developments in pediatrics, pediatric surgery and related sub-specialties, entailing recent clinical advances, innovations and experimental developments, being animal or laboratory-based experimentation, pertinent to Medical and Surgical Pediatrics. The Gazette essentially welcomes original research papers, review articles, case reports and guidelines. Research papers may include short research communications, technical reports, Systematic reviews, meta-analyses. Review articles must rely on assembly of citable evidence, linked together with expert perspective. Narrative reviews of multidisciplinary and specialist aspects of clinical services can be considered. The journal welcomes submissions from local, regional and international researchers. It has a high visibility and an international readership. The theme of the Gazette is to continuously import clinical best-practice and recent scientific advances in order to facilitate local and regional improvement in medical and surgical healthcare of children, across Egypt, Africa and the Middle East.
