Aims & Scope

The Journal of Information Sciences (JIS) places information sciences at the core of its research themes, offering fresh insights into the organization, management, and dissemination of knowledge and data engineering. JIS is a peer-reviewed, biannual journal published by the Information Science School of Morocco. It features refereed, conceptual, and research-based articles, aiming to connect the entire scientific community (including researchers, Ph.D. students, and information and communication professionals) in addressing challenges within information science. JIS is dedicated to original, innovative research covering a broad spectrum of topics related to information science, data science, knowledge management and engineering, and management science. The Editors welcome submissions on any aspect of information science and knowledge management, including, but not limited to: Foundational Concepts: Foundations of Information, Information Theory, Information Behaviors.
