About the Journal Aims and scope SELIM. Journal of the Spanish Society for Medieval English Language and Literature publishes articles, shorter notes, and book reviews written in English that contribute to the advancement of Medieval English Studies. Peer review process Originals submitted for publication will be pre-screened by the Editors. Once the Editors have run anti-plagiarism checks on the submissions, these will be double-blind peer-reviewed by, at least, two experts in the field of the paper. You may expect a decision in about eight weeks’ time. Open Access SELIM. Journal of the Spanish Society for Medieval English Language and Literature is an Open Access Journal licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License . Authors are free to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) their work published in SELIM , as long as appropriate credit is given to the author, journal ( SELIM ) and publisher (Ediuno), and the URL link to the original publication is provided. SELIM does not charge any fees to authors. Journal history SELIM was founded in 1987 to foster and encourage the scientific and scholarly study of Mediaeval English language, literature and culture in all its aspects. In 1991 the first issue was published, under the lead of Patricia Shaw, and ever since then it has released an issue per year. Previous and present issues of the journal are freely available online as PDF files.
