Aims & Scope
The main objective of the Revista de Lenguas para Fines Específicos (LFE) is to promote the dissemination of academic research in the field of language study, with a particular emphasis on specialized languages, including their teaching and learning practices. LFE invites the submission of original full-length articles, short articles, and academic book reviews in the field of languages for specific purposes, academic and professional. The topics of the articles should cover themes related to any field of applied linguistics within the scope of specialized languages. This includes areas of discourse analysis, pragmatics, sociology, contrastive analysis, global language, development and implementation of specialized corpora and software, teaching and learning techniques and methodology, curriculum development, among others. The journal also accepts articles describing ongoing projects in the field of languages for specific purposes. Contributions with a historical perspective are also of interest to the journal.
