Revista de poética medieval es una publicación anual dedicada al estudio de la poética y a la reflexión teórica y crítica sobre la literatura medieval hispánica e internacional. Sus páginas están abiertas a investigaciones originales de alta calidad científica que son sometidas a un proceso de revisión por pares para proceder a su aceptación. Desde 2006 la revista dedica determinados números a un tema monográfico encargada por su Consejo de Redacción a destacados especialistas españoles y extranjeros. Cuenta además con una sección de reseñas que valoran críticamente las novedades bibliográficas.
