Aims & Scope
Ámbitos. Revista Internacional de Comunicación is a scientific publication of open access that emerged under the impulse of the Research Group in Structure, History and Contents of Communication (GREHCCO). Currently, it is also edited by the Research Group in Communication, Critical Thinking and Dialogue in the Face of Global Change (Diálogos). Our purpose is to offer a space to give visibility to research in the field of Social Communication. We are a journal with a long history, the first scientific publication of communication in Andalusia, born in 1998 with the title Ámbitos. Revista Andaluza de Comunicación; from 2003 onwards we became Ámbitos. Revista internacional de Comunicación, thus expanding our scope and projection to the global context. The thematic axis of the journal is communication and journalism, accepting works that revolve around this theme from the different perspectives offered by the Social Sciences and Humanities. Ámbitos. Revista Internacional de Comunicación offers a dissemination space for researchers from the international context, especially from the Ibero-American sphere.
