Aims & Scope

Circuit, musiques contemporaines, créée en 1989 à l’initiative de Lorraine Vaillancourt, fondatrice et directrice artistique du Nouvel Ensemble Moderne (en résidence à l’Université de Montréal), et de Jean-Jacques Nattiez, son premier rédacteur en chef, publie en français et en anglais des articles, des documents et des dossiers sur la musique contemporaine qui se fait au Québec, en Amérique du Nord et ailleurs. Conçue à la fois comme une revue d’art et un instrument de réflexion esthétique, elle s’adresse à tous ceux qui se sentent concernés par les enjeux de la création musicale et artistique contemporaine.
