Aims & Scope

Teologická reflexe is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal that follows all ethical guidelines necessary for publishing high-quality original articles in the field of theology. Communication between authors, editors, reviewers and the editorial board is transparent and professional. It is conducted in accordance with theCOPECode of Conduct. All articles published in the journal must be relevant to the journal’s area of expertise and pass the peer review process. Authors who offer their manuscript to Teologická reflexe warrant that the text is their own work, has not been published before, and is not offered for publication elsewhere. They also warrant that ideas and formulations in the text not authored by them are properly acknowledged and that their author is listed in the appropriate bibliographical reference. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously is unethical and unacceptable. Similarly, it is unethical and unacceptable for authors to plagiarise or deliberately make inaccurate statements in their contributions. Authors are responsible for the linguistic accuracy of their published texts. The editors evaluate whether the submitted text corresponds to the characteristics of the journal in terms of subject matter, scope and level of preparation. If so, they accept it in a double-blind peer review process and send an anonymised version of the article to two independent experts for review. Otherwise, they inform the author of the reasons for non-acceptance. Upon receipt of the reviews, the editors will inform the author of the outcome and send him/her any requests for modifications to the text. A prerequisite for publication of an article in Teologická reflexe is that the authors must adequately revise their text in light of the reviewers’ reservations.
