Aims & Scope

The Scientific Bulletin is a double blind peer-review academic, biannually publication of the “Nicolae Balcescu” Land Forces Academy in Sibiu, issued in English language. It aims at presenting various approaches to the following domains: Military Sciences, Public Administration, Social and Humanities Sciences, Management, and Technical Sciences, with high relevance for the security and defence system. There are no article processing charges and no article submission charges. The Scientific Bulletin of the Land Forces Academy seeks to highlight, the results of the theoretical studies and scientific investigations carried out in the framework of national and international research grants and projects, as well as the contributions of leading personalities of contemporary national and international science. Based on the need of the higher education to focus more on scientific research and training practice, the Scientific Bulletin of the Land Forces Academy provides the optimal framework for debating various aspects, phenomena and fundamental processes specific to the army and to other areas of society. For every issue, the ideas, the content and the design of the accepted articles aim at disseminating, as well as, capitalizing on the research results for the purpose of substantiating new theoretical models and research projects, in addition to the modernizing of the university education.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
