Aims & Scope
JKPMHN disseminates original research of interest to psychiatric and mental health care nurses. The field is considered from the broadest perspective, encompassing theory, practice, and research applications related to all age groups, special populations, care settings, and interdisciplinary collaborations. Through critical studies, expository articles, and practice reviews, JKPMHN serves as a platform for clinical scholars to provide theoretical linkages across diverse areas of practice. JKPMHN focuses on innovations in practice grounded in development, evaluation, and research. It serves primarily as a means of communication among nursing professionals, while also engaging other mental health care providers. The journal functions as a repository for ideas, experiences, and findings derived from evaluation or research, and offers a forum for discussion on current mental health care issues. The journal covers a wide range of topics, including psychiatric and mental health, community mental health, mental disorders, psychiatric and mental health nursing education, practice, and research, psychosocial nursing interventions, complementary and alternative therapies, and cultural issues.
