Aims & Scope

La RHM est une revue internationale de recherche en histoire des sciences mathématiques. La Revue d'histoire des mathématiques publie des articles originaux (en français ou en anglais) consacrés à l'histoire des sciences mathématiques, de l'Antiquité à nos jours. Les sciences mathématiques peuvent y être considérées aussi bien dans leur développement propre que dans leurs rapports à d'autres disciplines ou à leur environnement culturel, institutionnel et social. La Revue d'histoire des mathématiques a l'ambition de servir la communauté internationale des historiens et historiennes des mathématiques en offrant aussi un espace de débat critique ouvert à des bilans historiographiques et à des notes prospectives ou programmatiques, ainsi qu’à la publication de documents inédits commentés. Elle s'adresse, au-delà de cette communauté, aux spécialistes de mathématiques, d’histoire et de philosophie des sciences, aux sociologues, aux anthropologues, et à toutes les personnes qu'intéresse une réflexion sur les mathématiques et leur développement.
