Apidologie
Springer-Verlag Italia s.r.l. · Italy · Est. 1958
Aims & Scope
Apidologie is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to the biology of the insect belonging to the Anthophila clade, the term "biology" being used in the broader sense. Apidologie is the official publication of the French National Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE) and Deutscher Imkerbund E.V. (D.I.B.). Main topics include: behavior, ecology, pollination, genetics, physiology, toxicology, and pathology. Systematic research can also be submitted to the extent that it concerns the Anthophila clade . Apidologie welcomes submissions on rearing, exploitation, and practical use of bees and their products. Studies have to make a clear contribution to the understanding of bee biology to be considered. Preference will be given to studies that are hypothesis driven. Papers which are only of descriptive kind or of local interest are not accepted
