Aims & Scope

Erciyes University Journal of the Social Sciences aims to comprise a scientific platform for academics who desire to share their knowledge, notions, findings and researches with colleagues while contributing to the accumulation of knowledge in Social Sciences by publishing scientific studies such as articles, book critics, translations and reviews that make original contributions to the literature within the framework of scientific ethics. Erciyes University Journal of Social Sciences Institute, first published in 1987, is a free of charge, open-access and double-blind peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Erciyes University Social Sciences Institute. The journal welcomes articles on the fields of Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Business, History, Turkish Language and Literature, Turkish Language Teaching, Philosophy, Geography, Educational Sciences, Law, Art History, Archeology, Communication Sciences, Linguistics, Music, Fine Arts, Tourism, International Relations, Finance , International Trade and Finance, Public Administration, Labor Economics, Theology, and other related fields in Turkish, English and Arabic. The journal does not charge any article submission or processing charges. All articles are subject to external double-blind peer review and checked for plagiarism using iThenticate software. Manuscripts submitted to the journal are only accepted if they have not been or will not be published and should not be under review elsewhere. The published articles can be used in accordance with our Open Access Policy and Creative Commons license, provided that the source is shown.
