Aims & Scope

The Philosophy World is an academic journal that publishes for the development and understanding of philosophical thought in Turkey. The journal publishes academic and semi-academic articles as well as translations of important articles and philosophical commentaries for the dissemination and popularisation of philosophical thought. It also includes studies for the development of philosophy education. Its publication policy is based on nationally and internationally recognised academic standards. As an independent, double blind peer-reviewed , open access and online journal, Philosophy World accepts academic works written in Turkish and English . The manuscripts submitted to the journal must not have been previously published or in the process of evaluation in another medium. The manuscripts that are deemed to be in compliance with the writing rules and the scope of the journal are sent to two referees who are experts in their fields for scientific evaluation. The Editorial Board follows the criteria of the Committee on Publication Ethics ( COPE ) and carries out the evaluation process by taking into account the comments of the referees. The Philosophy World includes original articles, research, commentaries, book reviews, book reviews, book reviews and translations covering all disciplines of philosophy, especially ontology, epistemology, axiology and aesthetics. Manuscripts can be submitted up to 2 months before the publication period of the journal. Scope :  Arts & Humanities, Philosophy Article Submissions Submitted manuscripts must be appropriate to the purpose and scope of the journal. Original, unpublished manuscripts that are not in the evaluation process in another journal and whose content and submission have been approved by each author are accepted for evaluation. Readership The target readership; Professionals, experts, researchers, specialists and doctoral students working in the field of Philosophy, as well as students related to this field. It aims to contribute to the spread of continuous professional development and research culture.
