Aim and ScopeAim and ScopeAimTheAnkara Medical Journalis an international, peer-reviewed, open access periodical journal belonging to the Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine. All article evaluation and publishing processes are completely free of charge. Our journal is published quarterly and indexed / listed in Scopus, DOAJ, Google Scholar, Index Copernicus, ROAD, ResearchBib, SHERPA/RoMEO, ULAKBIM TR Index, Turkish Citation Index and Turkish Medline. As a requirement of being a peer-reviewed journal, the submitted manuscripts will be evaluated by reviewers following the double-blind method. The manuscripts must be appropriate for the current version of standard rules (icmje_17.pdf) indicated for biomedical manuscripts as defined by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).Besides manuscripts must conform to the current version of the standard guidelines for biomedical manuscripts as defined by following the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) principles and Recommendations on Chatbots and Generative Artificial Intelligence in Relation to Scholarly Publications.ScopeAnkara Medical Journal is dedicated to publishing clinical research articles, invited reviews, letters to the editor, case series/reports on family medicine, medical education, health policies, community health, and primary care. The official language of the journal is English.Articles will not be accepted for evaluation if they have been published or if they are considered for publication elsewhere and if they are not prepared according to the publication rules. Only articles sent online via our website (http://www.ankaramedicaljournal.com) containing the appropriately filled copyright transfer form would be considered for publication.All responsibility for the published articles belongs to the authors.
