Aims & Scope

“Bulgarian neurology” is the official journal of the Bulgarian Society of Neurology. It publishes reviews, original articles, short communications, case reports, letters to the editor in neurology and related areas. The journal covers the all clinical spectrum of the nervous system diseases, their neuropathological, pathophysiological, diagnostic, neurophysiological, neuroimaging, neurogenetic, therapeutic, as well as research basis. Core areas of interest of “Bulgarian neurology” include stroke, traumatic brain injury, child neurology, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, dementia, peripheral muscle and nerve disorders, epilepsy, etc. The journal has multidisciplinary approach and gives scientific information in a variety of medical fields – pediatrics, psychiatry and psychology, neurosurgery, genetics, vascular surgery, electrophysiology, etc.
