The SGEM Conference covers a wide range of scientific topics related to the geological and ecological future of our planet. It aims to unify geosciences, geo-practices, and geo-technologies for a better, cleaner, and more beautiful Earth. The conference has 28 scientific sections, covering topics directly or indirectly related to the geological and ecological future of our planet. Key areas include Geology, Exploration, and Sustainable Mining; Geoinformatics, Spatial Data Analytics, and Remote Sensing; Water Resources, Forest, Marine and Ocean Ecosystems; Ecology, Environmental Economics, Education, and Legislation; Energy and Clean Technologies; and Nano, Bio, Green, and Space Technologies for a Sustainable Future. Specific sections include Economics of Sustainability and Environmental Policies, Environmental Legislation, Multilateral Relations and Funding Opportunities, and Education, Training, and Capacity Building in GeoSciences.
