Aims & Scope

Acta Virologica is the official journal of the Biomedical Research Centre of the Slovak Academy of Sciences that focuses mostly on molecular and cellular virology, and it is led by Dr. Katarina Polcicova. It provides means for open access publication of original papers dealing with fundamental research on human, animal, and plant viruses. As a matter of tradition also rickettsiae are included.
