Aims & Scope

Materials and Structures is a leading journal focused on research into construction materials and their performance in structures. Flagship publication of the International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials, Systems, and Structures (RILEM). A unique interdisciplinary forum for new research on construction materials, and on the tests that are used to prove their performance in practice. Publishes comprehensive reports and recommendations prepared by RILEM’s technical committees, and original research articles. Dedicated to the examination of the fundamental properties of building materials, and their applications in civil engineering. Known for technically rigorous experimental and modelling studies on cement/concrete, bitumen/asphalt, masonry, and related materials.
