Aims & Scope

Apoptosis is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to basic and clinically-oriented investigations into programmed cell death. Stimulates research on the basis of mechanisms of apoptosis and its role in various human disease processes. Investigates links to cancer, autoimmune disease, viral infection, AIDS, cardiovascular disease, neurodegenerative disorders, osteoporosis and ageing. Encourages development of clinical therapies against apoptosis-related diseases. 90% of authors who participated in a survey reported they would likely publish in the journal again.
