Journal of Seismology
Springer Netherlands · Netherlands · Est. 1997
Aims & Scope
The Journal of Seismology is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality research on all aspects of earthquake science. Embracing a broad and interdisciplinary vision of seismology, the journal provides a platform for observational, theoretical, and applied studies that advance the understanding of seismic phenomena and their implications for society. The journal publishes full-length research articles reporting original scientific results; review articles offering authoritative and balanced syntheses of recent developments in seismology; and brief reports presenting small-scale studies, including methodological advances and rapid short investigations conducted in the aftermath of large earthquakes. In addition, we accept comments that provide expert insights on topical issues, correspondence addressing previously published material or community debates, and data or software papers documenting publicly available resources that promote transparency, reproducibility, and collaboration in seismological research.
