The International Journal of Odonatology (IJO) is the official peer-reviewed publication of the Worldwide Dragonfly Association (WDA). It provides a high-quality international outlet for the growing global community of Odonata researchers. Purely faunistic studies of restricted geographic areas (highly localized surveys) or short natural history notes lacking a priori hypotheses or broader ecological or taxonomic implications fall outside the scope of IJO. Such contributions are better suited to our companion publication, Agrion, the WDA newsletter.
