Revista Iberoamericana de Economía Ecológica
Rede Iberoamericana de Economía Ecológica · Brazil · Est. 2004
Aims & Scope
The Revista Iberoamericana de Economía Ecológica (REVIBEC) publishes original articles in Spanish and Portuguese that address the relationship between environment, society, and economy, particularly those related to Ecological Economics and the thematic lines proposed by the Editorial Board. Studies can be theoretical, methodological, historical, and applied, as long as they are aligned with the focus of Ecological Economics. The journal aims to publish and disseminate original works of interest in the field of Ecological Economics. Contributions can be theoretical, methodological, or the result of empirical research or case studies, which advance knowledge in this area and are of interest to the Ibero-American region. The journal will consider the thematic limits established by the Editorial Board and specified below. The journal will be published semi-annually in Spanish (Latin America) and Portuguese (Brazil), according to the language of origin of the contributions. Articles submitted for publication will undergo a selection process managed by the Journal's Editorial Board, who will in turn rely on the judgment of a group of external reviewers under the double-blind system (the reviewer does not know the name and origin of the author, and the author receives anonymous critiques). The quality, originality, and general interest of the articles will be particularly considered for publication, according to the standards set by its Editorial Board. The Editorial Board will define the main themes for each issue of the journal, considering the theoretical, methodological, and instrumental development needs of Ecological Economics in the region, as well as the interest of REDIBEC participants.
