About the Journal ISSN 2335-8785 (Online) ISSN 1392-7450 (Print) __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Publisher/Owner: Vytautas Magnus University (Kaunas, Lithuania) Aims and Scope SOTER is the easternmost journal of religious studies in Europe. It aims to bridge the Eastern Tradition with the West by promoting research in religious studies that compares different aspects of religious experience in different religions and cultures. This was the reason for the journal's creation. This aim of SOTER makes it an attractive channel for international, conceptually innovative research problems and opens opportunities for scholars from different countries to publish the results of their theoretical and empirical research in religious studies. Soter is an interdisciplinary journal. It covers nineareas of scope of religious sciences: 1) Theology and Philosophy; 2) Pastoral Theology, 3) Bioethics; 4) History of Christianity; 5) Canon Law and the Social Teaching of the Church; 6) Christian Culture and Religious Studies; 7) Christian Education and Psychology; 8) Archives and Sources, 9) Translations. These scopes bring together a large international and interdisciplinary body of scholars in the field of religious sciences who publish their research findings in SOTER journal. SOTER offers the international research community the opportunity to publish original research on religion and culture, and the interdisciplinary nature of the scientific study of the phenomenon of religion is encouraged. The articles offer a diverse configuration of syntheses between theology, philosophy, psychology, education, law and history. The journal particularly values universal theoretical and practical models developed in the synthesis of these sciences, the innovative value of which would not only enrich the regional environment of the journal but would also be of interest to scholars in the field of religious studies on a globa
