The Boletín de la Sociedad Geológica Mexicana is a diamond open-access electronic scientific journal edited by the Instituto de Geología of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in academic collaboration with the Sociedad Geológica Mexicana, A.C. Founded in 1904, it is one of the oldest scientific publications in Mexico in the field of Earth Sciences and provides online access to its complete historical archive. Aimed at the geoscience academic community, the journal seeks to disseminate original research related to the geology of Mexico and adjacent regions, as well as interdisciplinary studies and emerging lines of research in Earth Sciences. The journal operates under a continuous publication model with single-blind peer review and publishes scientific articles in both Spanish and English, organized into three four-month issues per year (January–April, May–August, and September–December).
