Aims & Scope
The aim of the journal is to disseminate advancement in the history of Indonesia within a regional and global context, emphasizing texts with new empirical sources and those with new, challenging ideas.The areas of focus are listed below:- Indonesian History- Indonesian Historiography- Asian and Southeast Asian History- Global History and Transnational History The aim of the journal is to disseminate advancement in the history of Indonesia within a regional and global context, emphasizing texts with new empirical sources and those with new, challenging ideas. Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected throughInitial Reviewprocesses by Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to the Mitra Bestari/ peer reviewer and will go to the next selection byDouble Blind Preview Process. After that, the articles will be returned to the authors to revise. These processes take a month for a maximum time. In the each manuscript, Mitra Bestari/ peer reviewer will be rated from the substantial and technical aspects.Initial screening. All submissions are initially screened by the Editor-in-Chief to determine its appropriateness for the scope and field of the journal and whether the article fulfill all requirements, including being free of plagiarism. Manuscripts that is not appropriate to the journalβs scope and fail to abide by our ethical standards are immediately rejected.Reviewer assignments. Manuscript that pass the initial screening are handed to a section editor who will select two relevant reviewers.Peer review. The two reviewers will assess the content of the manuscript and provide recommendations to the Editor in Chief.First decision. The manuscript is either rejected, asked for revisions (minor or major) or accepted as is by the two reviewers. If it is accepted, the manuscript is returned to the submitting author for proofreading. The final decision to accept the manuscript is made by the Editor in Chief based on the recommendation of the sectio
