About the Journal The Ulumuna Journal of Islamic Studies (Ulumuna) is an international, peer-reviewed journal committed to publishing high-impact, cutting-edge research on Islam and Muslim societies. It serves as a platform for theoretically rigorous and empirically grounded scholarship that critically interrogates Islamic intellectual traditions and their contemporary transformations across diverse global contexts. The journal prioritizes innovative and agenda-setting contributions that advance conceptual debates, refine methodological approaches, and generate new analytical perspectives within Islamic Studies. By fostering interdisciplinary and comparative scholarship, Ulumuna positions itself at the forefront of global academic discourse, engaging with pressing socio-political, economic, and cultural issues affecting Muslim communities worldwide. Ulumuna, (P-ISSN: 1411-3457 , 2355-7648 , E-ISSN: 2775-2453 ), is a peer-reviewed journal published biannually by Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Mataram since 1997. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic integrity and scholarly quality. The journal was re-accredited in 2022 by the Directorate General of Strengthening Research and Development, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (Decree No. 105/E/KPT/2022), with accreditation valid until 2027. Since July 20, 2022, Ulumuna has been indexed in Scopus, underscoring its growing international visibility and impact. As a Crossref member since 2015, all published articles are assigned permanent Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), ensuring long-term accessibility and reliable citation.
