Aims & Scope

Cadernos do IME - Série Matemática is a scientific journal aimed at promoting the circulation of ideas and stimulating the study and intellectual curiosity in the area of Mathematics. It is directed at all those interested in the teaching and study of Mathematics and its applications in other areas of knowledge. It is a channel for disseminating expository works and preprints of Mathematics articles, interdisciplinary articles, with a focus on applications of Mathematics; and, articles on Mathematics Education and Mathematics Teaching, reporting practical experiences, lived in the classroom, on the teaching of Mathematics topics. It is open to the dissemination of works by professors/researchers and students from all educational and research institutions.
