Aims & Scope

Medical Rehabilitation is an open-access, peer-reviewed and evidence-based scientific journal published by the University of Physical Education in Krakow, Poland. The journal is published quarterly and covers topics in rehabilitation, physiotherapy, orthopaedics, rheumatology, neurology and other health and medicine-related fields. The primary medium of the journal is its English online version, first released in 2005. The journal aspires to feature original research covering all facets of rehabilitation, and is intended for individuals professionally engaged in physiotherapy and rehabilitation. The central objective pursued by the Editorial Board is to disseminate knowledge about contemporary medical rehabilitation and physical therapy while promoting research advancement in these areas. Medical Rehabilitation accepts articles that present original scientific research, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, brief reports, and technical reports. We warmly welcome submissions from the international academic and health professional communities. Our focus is on publishing evidence-based articles that exhibit rigorous methodology, practical clinical application, highlight best clinical practices, and delve into pertinent professional issues or perspectives. In our commitment to maintain publishing integrity and excellence, we adhere to the standards set by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE; ), Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME).
