Aims & Scope

The Journal of Solid State Electrochemistry is devoted to all aspects of solid-state chemistry and solid-state physics in electrochemistry, publishing novel papers on all aspects of electrochemical science and technology (E-chem S&T) of solid compounds, including experimental and theoretical, basic and applied works. It equally publishes papers on thermodynamics and kinetics of electrochemical reactions, if at least one actively participating phase is solid. Also of interest are articles on the transport of ions and electrons in solids, whenever these processes are relevant to electrochemical reactions and on the use of solid-state electrochemical reactions in the analysis of solids and their surfaces. For more details see our aims and scope Aims to notify and inform the E-chem S&T community of progresses and advances made and their importance for future developments Special Issues focusing on Topics of interest Important reading for scientists in electrochemistry and energy research Publishes Feature Articles, presenting new ideas and perspectives

Frequently asked questions about Journal of Solid State Electrochemistry

Is Journal of Solid State Electrochemistry a predatory journal?

PubScope has no integrity flags on record for Journal of Solid State Electrochemistry: it is indexed in Web of Science, Scopus, and is not on DOAJ's withdrawn list. Indexing is a transparency signal, not a guarantee — always confirm fit and policies before submitting.

What is the impact factor of Journal of Solid State Electrochemistry?

Journal of Solid State Electrochemistry is indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection, so Clarivate publishes an official Journal Impact Factor for it (since the 2023 Journal Citation Reports, every Core Collection journal — including Arts & Humanities and Emerging Sources titles — receives one). PubScope links to Clarivate's official source rather than reprinting the number, which can be out of date. Its open 2-year mean citedness is 2.81.

Is Journal of Solid State Electrochemistry indexed in Scopus and Web of Science?
