Theoretical and Applied Climatology was originally founded in 1949. As one of the successors of Meteorologische Zeitschrift, TAAC perpetuates the traditions of one of the oldest meteorological journals worldwide 98% of authors who answered a survey reported that they would definitely publish or probably publish in the journal again.
